Matthew Hosman is a 2015 RHP/IF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Peabody, MA who attends Phillips Academy. Medium, highly athletic, lean build with room to fill out. Ran a 6.94 60 yard dash. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and has good, clean finish in his delivery. Shows good movement on his fastball and works at 83-84 mph. Repeats his delivery very well and shows polish. Has sinking action on his fastball. Good feel for his 73 mph curveball ad 76 mph changeup. Bats right-handed, uses a leg lift trigger and looks to lift the ball. Squares pitches up consistently and flashes power. Moves well on the infield and fields the ball out front. Shows solid arm strength.
