Will Heath is a 2017 SS with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Monroe, LA who attends Ouachita Parish HS. Strong athletic build for his age, projects very well. 6.97 runner and should get even faster, young infield actions, good present arm strength with good projection. Right handed hitter, tall stance, quick hands to the ball, has some power with more to come, looks to pull and ball comes off his barrel well, tends to get hunched over at the plate and loose his leverage at times. Also pitched, high 3/4's arm slot from a rotational delivery, front side tends to open early. Fastball topped out at 78 mph. Curveball best pitch with sharp biting action at times. Good athlete who projects in all areas with additional strength and baseball repetitions. Very good student.
