Ricardo De La Torre is a 2017 SS with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Juana Diaz, PR who attends Puerto Rico BB Academy. Strong and athletic build, looks even stronger since last August. Right handed hitter, has pro level bat speed, well timed shift uses his lower half well, explodes his hands at contact, line drive swing plane, will hit to all fields, ball explodes off his barrel hard. 6.63 runner. Has easy actions in the infield with advanced footwork going side to side and charging the ball, very strong arm, can make all the plays. Highest level prospect.
