Kyle Gerace is a 2016 RHP/MIF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Linwood, NJ who attends Mainland Reg. Tall, lean, projectable build. Good athlete. Ran a 7.10 60 yard dash. Pitches from a three-quarter arm slot and has a long, loose arm action. Works aggressively down in the zone and tops at 86 mph with his fastball. Stays online with his delivery. Mixes his curveball with 11-5 depth and good shape at 73 mph. Flashes a 71 mph changeup with solid sinking action and feel. High upside arm. Also swung the bat, has a patient approach and flashes good bat speed from the right side. Shows lift and power potential to pull side. Stays on top of his throws on the infield and moves through the ball well. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect list.
