Angel Rodriguez is a 2017 LHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Fort Lauderdale, FL who attends Pace HS. High waisted young build, very projectble physically. Quick arm from a high 3/4's arm slot, limited use of his lower half at present, stays on line well. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, plenty more there with additional strength, heavy fastball with good downhill plane. Curveball has tight spin and good 1/7 depth to it. Will drop his slot on his lider but gets good tilt and angle to the pitch. Threw strikes with all three pitches and had an idea what he was doing. Just a matter of getting stronger.
