2016 Mid Atlantic Top Prospect Showcase
Adam Holland is a 2017 OF/2B with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Erial, NJ who attends William Penn Charter. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and plenty of physical strength nicely proportioned throughout frame. Strong runner, posted a 6.88 60-yard dash, shows both speed and instincts on the bases. Primary outfielder, moves to the ball well with quick feet and balance, athletic actions and repeats them well, short and fast arm action, uses a crow hop to get lower half going into release, on top of throws with present strength and carry, some effort at release. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high back elbow and lower hand set in the box. High leg lift trigger at start of swing and consistently on time with it, stays short and direct to the ball with quick hands and leverage at the point of contact. Loud contact coming off the barrel and shows ability to create steady backspin to the pull side, consistent contact to middle and pull, able to impact the ball in live action too. Good student. Named to Mid Atlantic Top-Top Prospect List.
