Gavin Dooley is a 2016 C/RHP with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Woodward Academy. Slender framed build, lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, open stance, balanced relaxed stance, has good hand quickness, line drive swing, loose extension out front, beginnings of some bat speed, solid overall swing mechanics, hitting tools to keep improving with additional strength. Low flexible set up catching, good hands receiving the ball, accurate throws, can improve pop times with better footwork moving through the ball. Projectable young player to follow.
