Steve Salisbury is a 2016 SS/OF/RHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Cranston, RI who attends Moses Brown HS. Lean, athletic build with some present wiry strength, still room to project additional strength and muscle on frame. Primary infielder, solid actions, footwork and feel for the game at shortstop. Also moves well in the outfield, accurate throws to bases with solid arm strength. Left handed hitter, high back elbow setup, sweeping bat path, barrel gets through the zone quickly, solid present bat speed. Good path, plane to hit low pitches, shows comfort in pulling the ball and flashes pop to the right center field gap. Also pitches, some deception in delivery with hip turn and coil at top of leg lift, long, loose arm-action on backside, works through very quickly. Fastball up to 86 mph, good life on offering from 3/4's arm slot, ability to spot pitch in lower half of the strike zone. Flashed some feel to spin a low-70s curveball with 10/4 break. Very good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
