Edwin Johns is a 2019 SS/RHP, 3B, MIF, OF, UT with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Savannah, GA who attends The Savannah Country Day. Tall frame with a slender build and room to add. Ran a 7.06 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary shortstop. Smooth footwork when closing to the ball. Fields with soft hands out front. Loose arm action with accurate carry to the bag topping out at 83 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a wide base. Short and compact path to the ball. Generates jump when barreled with bat speed. Very good student as well.
