Alex Naiser is a 2014 OF/RHP with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cy-Fair. Slender young build, projects well physically. 6.97 runner, arm is loose and easy in the outfield, moves to the ball well, can improve footwork throwing but throws have carry. Right handed hitter, quick hands, good aggressive swing, line drive swing plane, stays balanced well but will occasionally reach outside, projects to keep improving. Potential two-way prospect. long easy arm action, 3/4's relesae point, ball comes out cleanly, short stride that needs to be lengthened, works from the stretch. Fastball topped at 84 mph, lots more velocity in there, curveball shows power with a tight spin and 11/5 shape, good depth, nice feel for sinking change up. Body still young but has lots of tools and projection if he gets stronger. Follow closely. Good student.
