2013 Sunshine East Showcase
Cole Prestegard is a 2015 1B/OF, 3B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Huntsville, AL who attends Huntsville HS. Big frame with a lean athletic build. He has plenty of room to fill out and add strength. Hits from the left side of the plate out of a slightly open upright set up. He uses a leg kick trigger and produces good bat speed. Showed a nice fluid stroke and a line drive swing plane. Power should increase as he continues to mature. Very good looking young hitter. On defense he showed good footwork and arm strength. Moves well and has soft hands. Interesting follow. Outstanding in the classroom.
