Nathan Trevillian is a 2015 RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Monroe, VA who attends Amherst County HS. Slender young athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. High 3/4's arm slot, loose arm action, uses lower half well in delivery, repeats mechanics well. Steady upper 80's fastball, topped out at 89 mph, have seen up to 91 mph in the past, fastball has good running and sinking life. Nice feel for change up with lots of tailing action as well. Mid-70's slurve type breaking ball with occasional depth when on top of it, flat sweeping break at other times. Throws strikes with all three pitches. Waiting for the growth spurt and the strength to kick in, has the skill and polish at present. Good student, verbal commitment to Liberty.
