Garrison Armstrong is a 2017 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Boerne, TX who attends Boerne - Samuel V Champion HS. Large frame, big build, clear sign of present strength. On the mound, throws from a mid to low 3/4 arm slot. Has quick arm speed and compact arm action. Fastball has some natural sink to it, does a nice job of creating a downhill angle. 1/7 curveball shape with good depth. Simple delivery that is repeated well. Changeup has occasional late bite. Throws strikes with all three pitches. At the plate, left-handed hitter that starts with a wide base and a high hand set. Level swing plane with hard pull side contact. Raw power, home run run to right field that got out in a hurry during games. More there as bat speed continues to develop. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
