Hit from a square stance, sees ball well, has quick short bat to the ball with good extension. Uses lower half well and creates loud contact. Hits to all fields with quiet approach and good hands. Has lift in swing. Has present power with strength in his swing, made hard contact all weekend. Has good approach and solid hitting fundamentals. Defensively, athletic actions behind plate, moves well blocking the ball, has short arm action with a tight release. Good feel for playing 1B with good feet and reactions. Named to Top Prospect List. Outstanding Student.
