Gabriel Coburn is a 2016 MIF/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Windermere, FL who attends Montverde Academy. Medium athletic build with a strong lower half, can add plenty of upper body strength. 6.94 runner, has quick feet in the infield on defense and is agile to both sides, clean and fluid actions, compact arm action and gets on top of his throws well, very accurate throws with carry, high level middle infield actions. Right handed hitter, high hands and elbow load, get them down in time, loose short swing from a good shift into contact, pull approach, will top spin the ball occasionally, has good barrel feel and the beginnings of some bat speed, good swing to build from, additional strength will help his offensive game the most.
