Quinn Cooper is a 2016 OF/1B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Walnut, CA who attends Walnut HS. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and long limbs, present strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.24 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, full arm action with on throws, shows accuracy and strength , taller at release, ball comes out cleanly, overall actions will continue to develop in the field. Right-handed hitter, starts with a medium hand set and a square stance in the batters box. Leg kick trigger for timing, uses strength well to generate sound bat speed through the zone. Simple set of swing mechanics and repeats, direct path to the ball, quick hands and barrel to the ball with consistent feel for the barrel, nice jump coming off when squared. Good student.
