Mizuki Shumsky is a 2014 3B/SS with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Tokyo, JPN who attends American School-Japan. During infield drills, Mizuki showed solid defensive actions, good transfer, and quick release. Has a low ¾ arm slot, with a short quick arm action. In the outfield workout, he showed good arm strength, short arm action. He works through ball, has some carry on throws, with solid actions. At the plate, he displayed a middle of the field approach with simple hitting mechanics. He has a short stroke, good balance, and a line drive swing plane. He also excels in the classroom.
