Bowden Francis is a 2015 RHP with a 6-5 225 lb. frame from Tallahassee, FL who attends Lawton Chiles HS. Tall very broad shouldered build, high waist, lots of strength potential. Tall delivery, mid to low 3/4's release point, long loose arm action, bit cross body on release. Fastball topped at 91 mph, works low in the zone with good sinking life at times, has the ability to get fastball to glove side consistently, has gained 5-6 mph on his fastball over the last year. Soft curveball with sweeping shape, tighter slider shows good potential, developing change up. Interesting young pitcher with rapidly developing tools and skills. Verbal commitment to Chipola College.
