Max Guzman is a 2016 3B/1B/C with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Calvary Christian Academy. Big and strong build throughout. Right handed hitter, slightly open stance, high hands with a big load and gather on his backside, outstanding raw bat speed, has enormous raw power with big back spin, can hit the ball as far as any player in the class, surprising barrel skills for how hard he swings, ball just explodes off the barrel. Surprisingly athletic and light on his feet for his size, very good raw arm strength, can play multiple positions, feet are a positive behind the plate catching, good backhand and balance at third base. Power is his big tool and will settle on a position when physically mature. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida International. Named to the Perfect Game All-American Classic team.
