Daniel Bateman is a 2013 SS/3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Washington, UT who attends Pine View HS. Large athletic frame, good present strength. 7.33 runner, straight stance hitting, rock back load, moves through contact well, simple approach, shows some bat speed, good leverage at contact, line drive swing plane, squares it up well, mid field contact, patient game approach, should continue to improve. Third base build and tools, has some first step quickness, good lateral actions, athletic balance, arm strength still developing. Good student.
