Conrad Cornell is a 2014 SS/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Covington, GA who attends Westminster HS. Medium athletic build, room to get stronger. 6.95 runner, shows athleticism and quick feet in the infield, good arm strength, quick release, hands need some softening, has tools for the middle of the field. Right handed hitter, straight stance with good flow through contact, short compact swing, swings down to the ball, solid line drive contact. Also pitched, slow paced leg raise delivery, doesn't get over front side well, extended 3/4's release, loose arm. Low 80's fastball, topped at 83 mph, good and sink, throws both slider and curveball with some spin plus a change up, mixes well and throws strikes, will have success on the mound. Very good student.
