Kimble has a lean frame, hits from a slightly open stance, medium leg lift, line drive swing plane with some late lift, mid field contact, good hands to ball, hits to all fields, centers ball up consistently, defensively, good carry on throw, good transfer and release, good actions, comes through ball well, good quick feet, he is also an excellent student.
