Matt Duffy is a 2007 shortstop/right handed pitcher from St Sebastian's HS in Milton, Massachusetts, with a lean, athletic 6'1"/170 pound frame. Matt was named to the Top Prospect Team. As a right handed hitter, he hits from an upright and balanced stance. He has good hands and does a nice job getting them to the ball. Duffy uses the whole field and has good power to the opposite field. Matt has smooth feet in the infield to go along with good actions defensively and soft hands. As a right handed pitcher, he pitches from a low 3/4 arm slot with good arm action. He showed very good command and good arm speed with a 78 mph fastball. His curveball was 62 mph with 11-5 break.
