Jose Jimenez is a thick built catcher from Hialeah, FL. He is very strong, especially in the lower half. He shows a good arm and receiving ability. His top feature by far is the bat. He can really hit and he has big time power potential. He has a nice fluid controlled swing that makes consistent hard contact. He shows MLB power bat speed. He will hit at any college in the country. He's a good player with a MLB bat. Jose is an excellent student.
