Barrett O'Neill is a 2011 RHP/3B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Ashland, MA who attends Dexter School. Strong mature build. Drop and drive delivery, compact arm action, hides the ball well, tends to spin off on release. FB topped at 88 mph, consistent running action, sometimes hard and late, inconsistent release points on CB, can be hard and sharp when on top, occasional change up. Mixes it up, throws strikes and is effective. Showed some pull power and bat speed at the plate. Good student, verbal commitment to Virginia.
