Griffin Murphy is a 2010 LHP with a 6'3'', 195 lb. frame from Highland, CA who attends Redlands East Valley HS. Solid athletic build, good strength. Well paced balanced delivery, uses lower half well, good leverage, fast arm, hi 3/4's release. FB 88-91 mph, projects more velo, 2-seam FB gets good life down in zone. Change up best secondary pitch, has deception and life. Didn't get out front on CB consistently, development of breaking ball will make him an early draft prospect. Could be power lefty. Good student.
