Jaden Rodriguez is a 2024 SS/ with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Harwood Hts, IL who attends Ridgewood Comm. A compact frame with some strength in the build. Ran a 7.62 60-yard dash. A primary shortstop with athletic actions that looked the part from the get-go during his round of defensive throws. Clean with his backhand showing off the soft hands. Had a quick release as he funneled into the throws, which came out at 85 mph across the field. Smooth up the middle. Stays low to the ground, shows the pocket early, and keeps control of his momentum working through throws. Clean round of defense at shortstop. A right-handed hitter with slightly open feet, hands set high, and a high back elbow. Uses a hanging leg lift trigger with a simple and compact swing. Rotates through contact and was able to work gap-to-gap well during his round of BP swings. Named to 2023 North Indoor Showcase TP List.
