Zachary Cranford is a 2025 C/2B, 3B, SS with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Valley Lee, MD who attends Leonardtown. Medium frame with projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.96 seconds. Hits from slightly open stance with high back elbow in set, small hovering trigger, middle field approach with handsy uphill swing, developing overall strength and impact off the barrel, consistent swing that he repeats. Worked out behind the plate, high set, length to arm stroke on back side, high 3/4 slot release with downhill throws, clocked up to 72 mph with good accuracy. Also pitched, very quick relief inning with lots of weak contact, high slot, fastball worked 73-75 mph with slight life.
