Reid Montgomery is a 2023 OF/ with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Mission Viejo, CA who attends Capistrano Valley. Strong, physical frame with good amounts of length and definition to the upper half. Primary outfielder who really impressed during drills. Showed an easy arm with strength and carry to the bag consistently. Gathers with confidence and let's the arm really work. Sound actions with the arm to match. Left-handed hitter, narrow stance and upright in the box with a lower hand set. Strides into contact with a quick bat, impact to the pull side. Showed good feel for the barrel with good strength off the head when squared. Quick hands and solid barrel control that showed in game. Promising ability. Excellent student.
