Jansen Krei is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Lake View. Medium frame with slender build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.68 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, works from the stretch, medium-length arm stroke to overtop release with drop and drive in lower half, fastball worked 66-69 mph with slight sink, worked in short curveball with 11/5 shape. Hits from very closed start and strides further closed, torso dives over the plate and weight shifts to front leg, inside-out path with opposite field approach, developing feel for hitting. Worked out in the outfield, aggressive approach with developing feel for reading hops, clocked up to 70 mph on throws. Good student.
