Yedlimar De Jesus Centeno is a 2025 RHP/IF with a 5-5 115 lb. frame from Arecibo, PR who attends Albergue Olímpico Baseball Academy. Slender young build with minimal present strength. Primary right handed pitcher, works from a high leg raise delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot, tends to fall off early to the first base side with upper half, repeats mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 63 mph, gets consistent cutting action on his fastball and throws the pitch for strikes. Showed confidence in a mid-50's curveball and also threw this pitch for strikes. Created lots of weak reaching contact and had an efficient outing. Plays the middle infield when not on the mound, step by step actions, makes the routine play and makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a short downhill swing, gets the barrel out and pulls the ball with developing bat speed.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
