Carter Cobb is a 2028 OF/RHP/MIF with a 5-7 137 lb. frame from Comstock Park, MI who attends Rockford. Medium lean build with good projection and present athleticism. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.28 seconds. Primary position OF, really getting after the ball with aggression. Works the glove out front and works into clean midline transfer to throw. Full arm path, cutting it loose with velocity up to 75 mph back to the infield with accuracy. Reps on the IF too, with more methodical footwork here and getting the glove in position a bit later. Feeds across the diamond up to 72 mph. Slow roller play was done well too. RHH with a narrow start and higher handset with a bit of barrel tilt initially. Moves in with the pitch and swing plane creates pull-oriented line drive contact. Emerging hand strength with plenty of time for overall physical development. Outstanding student.
