Kirk Stensrud is a 2023 1B/RHP, 3B, UT with a 6-5 230 lb. frame from Glenside, PA who attends IMG Academy. Ran a 7.20 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary first baseman with excellent size and strength to both his frame and build. Profiles well to the corner as he worked well around then bag with first step quickness, and feel for the glove. Advanced receiver with balance, and the ability to dig throws out of the dirt with fluid actions. Arm is accurate on throws in the infield producing result at 82-mph. Also took repetitions in the infield where he displayed range to either side and accuracy on throws across with carry to the bag at 77-mph. A right-handed hitter with a square stance and hands high in his setup. Hand-eye coordination and bat speed lead to loud pull side contact to the gaps. Ability to create leverage with front side and drive result with carry. Displayed ability to hit the ball where it was pitched, not trying to do too much with clean, simplistic hitting approach. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
