There is a lot of chatter going on in the Mid Atlantic about PG Super25, which is the region’s new tournament program. All amateur baseball teams will have the opportunity to become the No. 1 team in their region and represent that region in the Perfect Game Super25 National Championship. The Perfect Game Super25 mission is simply to keep baseball a "Team Sport" for decades to come. By keeping teams together from the qualifying tournaments, through the regional tournaments and onto the championships, the Perfect Game Super25 emphasizes team commitment, integrity, chemistry and the reward of winning as a team. By bringing the region together we want new teams to see new faces and create new matchups that were not created before. With that said, the Mid Atlantic region is proud to announce the inaugural 9U pre-season rankings and honorable mentions.

This squad has all the makings of a region representative for the Super25 National Championship. Kyle Wagner’s organization is always strongly represented wherever they go. They have the top pre-season ranking, so they will have a target on their back.
John McAdams’ Projected Region Representative: CP Stars
I am going with the programs storied success in younger age groups here. Team commitment goes a long way with this program. A talent-laden roster with their usual strength on the pitching mound, leads me to believe this new tournament program will be no different.
Gary Wilson’s Projected Region Representative: Beaver Valley Red
Beaver Valley Red and Brian Smith are always in the running of every tournament they play in. I have seen this program compete and have success for years and I have no doubt that they will succeed this year as well.
Impact Matchup: #6 Tri-State Arsenal vs. #4 White Marsh Warriors
We are already looking forward to seeing Tri-State Arsenal and White Marsh Warriors matchup in the 9U regional on May 31-June 1. These two teams are in the pre-season top 10 and will matchup against each other very nicely throughout the season.
