Kernels Foundation Tournament Scout Notes: Days 1-2

Lincoln Dalton (2026, Bettendorf, Iowa) is a right-handed pitcher with a taller 6-foot-4, 200-pound frame with a slender build. He has a controlled and deliberate wind-up as he gets going to make his move down the slope. Dalton has a slower side step into a knee-to-chest leg lift with a slight coil before he rides the slope downhill. He throws from a higher three-quarters arm slot with a loose and lengthy arm stroke. The fastball worked up to 85 mph and held the low-80s with arm-side life to it. The pitch spun up into 2,238 RPMs and was consistently in the 2,100-200 range. He established the zone early and was able to elevate it for some whiffs early in the outing. He showed a slider in the upper 60s that was up to 72 mph on it.
