The 2023 Perfect Game Premier Collegiate League was a stellar year, as Aces Collegiate Black were crowned as back-to-back champions headlined by a stellar group of arms. Banditos Taylor finished as runner ups with an impressive stretch over the entirety of the summer. Below is a list of our All-Collegiate team to highlight some of the standout performers by adding an extra outfield slot as well as a Designated Hitter and Extra Hitter spot to make some room for serious sluggers.

This year’s All-Collegiate League team features heavy sluggers and high-end athletes across the board. Parker Airhart earned MVP honors with his absolute display, tying a league best with four homers and was a consistent force behind the dish and at the plate. He joins Raffi Gross and Sam Hardcastle as a trio of potent bats in the OSP lineup. Braydon Caldwell had a stellar summer and established himself as one of the premier shortstops here. He’s a high contact hitter with real feel and an above-average runner at a premium spot up the middle. Chase Mora and Parker Edwards round out the rest of the dirt, as Mora was one of the most dangerous bats coming off his stellar freshman campaign with Texas State. Edwards sent some of the furthest hit balls of the tournament and fits right into first base along with his enticing two-way ability as a low/mid-90s arm. James Kaden Nolan, Tregan Hyder and Caden Robertson round out the rest of the outfield spots as each of them brought a unique combination of speed and power. Robertson in particular was simply stellar, collecting 18 hits and four homers this summer. Nathan Becker and Daniel Bell provide some heavy thump at out DH and EH spots as both are immense physical sticks with loud strength at impact.

On the bump, this year’s group had a good amount of depth and solid arsenals to match. Carlos Samuel Marquez earned MVP Pitcher as closed out the championship and was lights out all year, running it up to 93 mph with a potent slider and striking out 40 over 25 innings. Hayden Morris had the top velocity in the event with a 95 mph fastball with good carry and two hard breakers. Brock Shoffener was another power arm for Aces Collegiate Black, filling the zone at will and topping 91 mph all the while allowing zero runs over 19 innings. Drew Maust ate up innings all summer, running it up to 92 mph and recording 47 strikeouts over 33 innings. Overall, it was a standout year on both sides of the ball.
