Recently back on the market, Sirmans is going to be a hot commodity for schools to chase. Very athletic with left side of the infield tools. Clean actions on the dirt with big bat speed and fast hands at the plate. Checks multiple boxes from a tool’s standpoint. Talented two-sport athlete that just turned 16 years old. His at-bats in Fort Myers will be heavily monitored.

Gandy is mature from a physical standpoint, and it shows in his game. Quick, fluid stroke at the dish as he finds the barrel often. Had a batting average of .328 in 61 at-bats on the year in PG events. Real feel for the leather defensively in the infield and has the proper tools to stick on this side in the long run.

Prozny is first and foremast, a tremendous athlete. Metric numbers in the upper-echelon in all categories. Sub-6.40 second sixty runner and up to 93 mph with throws from the outfield in a showcase setting. Also slashed .348 in 46 at-bats on the year in PG events. Resume backs up the game and will surely be on a ton of radars in south Florida.

If he is to find some barrels and be confident at the dish during the event, you can rest assured knowing he will be committed quickly after.

Barberi has catapulted himself onto the scene this year and may have the most upside outside of any uncommitted player in his class. Still very slender in the frame, the 6-foot-2 right-hander is lights out on the mound. Easy upper-80s stuff peaking at 90 mph. Feel to spin a sharp slider and fades a changeup in as well. His abilities don’t stop on the mound either. He hit .362 on the year with 19 RBI in 58 at-bats. His big year has surely brought in a bunch of big programs, and he will be off this uncommitted list quickly.

Turner has a handful of tools that are still yet fully tapped into. Big time power at the dish as we saw him leave the yard three times on the year. If he is to hone his craft, the final product here could be the highest-level prep prospect.

You could argue that Shore may get overlooked at times with all the high-end talent that accompanies him on his team, but you won’t find a more consistent performer. Was a menace at the dish this year, slashed .409 with 34 RBI in 93 at-bats in PG events. Plays a confident outfield and has a solid arm, upper-80s throws in showcases. Shore is a gamer and when he gets in front of the right eyes, his uncommitted status will change.

Zehner is another guy who won’t last long being uncommitted. Plays a twitchy game covering a ton of room in the outfield while also doing damage at the dish. Fluid, linear stroke at the dish as he impacts with some thump. Also has the speed to go with it running a sub-6.60 second sixty-yard dash.

All signs point toward Willis having high upside on the mound. The 6-foot-6 right-hander hasn’t thrown in a ton of events this year but has been excellent when he did. Fastball already into the upper-80s with 90 mph right around the corner. This could be a big splash on the recruiting scene if all the cards are to fall into place.

Ninth Inning Royals – Iglesias
Hubbard is starting to fill out the frame with a physicality about him and it is paying dividends in his game. Intent in the left-handed swing and squares it up often. In 100 at-bats on the year, he had 32 hits with just 13 strikeouts. Is also more than serviceable at the hot corner defensively and has the arm strength to stay here long term. Hubbard is surely on radars going into Fort Myers and will be a must follow throughout the week.

Thigpen has all the early makings of a legit arm going forward. Long, lean 6-foot-1 frame with room to still fill out. Easy arm stroke from a higher slot and has real feel to mix speeds while getting outs. Fastball into the upper-80s with plenty left in the tank. Also proves to have feel to spin a breaking ball in the mid-70s. In 33 1/3 innings pitched this year, he has 45 strikeouts and just 13 walks. Look for his outings to be heavily scouted down in Fort Myers.

Due to his birthdate, although Lopez has begun his senior year of high school, he’s still age-eligible for the Underclass and looks to catch the eye of a program looking for a late addition to their 2023 class. A lean and projectable 6-foot, 165-pound shortstop, Lopez has the tools to make an impact in several facets of the game, beginning with his right-handed swing where he shows a consistent handle for the barrel, staying direct to the baseball while remaining balanced throughout. He’s able to fully utilize all parts of the field and shows some sneaky pop to the gaps before letting his speed on the bases take over which also translates to his defensive actions in the dirt where he shows plenty of lateral range.

Top Tier Americans
One of the top uncommitted prospects in all of the Northeast, Tonnotti has plenty to offer college programs, not only as a hard throwing right-hander but also as an athletic outfielder with budding juice in his left-handed swing. What he shows on the mound may ultimately be too loud to ignore as the Connecticut native works comfortably in the upper-80s with his fastball, utilizing a simple and fast operation on the mound while generating tons of life and plane through the zone. The life on both the fastball, carry up in the zone and upwards of 24” of IVB, and curveball, which shows late horizontal break, make for an uncomfortable at-bat, even more so when you consider how he’s able to live within the zone. He struck out 23 in 18 innings compared to just 9 walks.

There’s a lot to like when it comes to Babaev and he started his summer on the right foot with a strong showing at the PG Junior National and never truly slowed down, hitting .429 at the 16u WWBA World Championships. A long and projectable 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, Babaev uses that length to his advantage in his left-handed swing as he generates nice leverage out front with some whip to the barrel head and present bat speed through the zone. Take the mechanics of the swing and the physical projection the New Yorker presents and it’s easy to see some real power developing here, especially given how the ball came off his stick in live action at the National.

You won’t miss Cullen as he strides out to the mound for NEB as he stands at a long 6-foot-3, 180 pounds, which in turn means he may not have yet hit his ceiling in terms of what he’ll produce on the mound. Cullen has already experienced a big jump this year, going from the low-80s and quickly climbing up to the 89 mph bolt we saw at the 16u WWBA New England Championships in June. Similar to Cook above, the athleticism and physical projection are sure to draw the interests of collegiate programs alike, especially if he continues to strike out nearly two batters per inning as we saw in a short sample size this summer.

Diaz took part in this past summer’s PG Junior National and he wasted little time capturing the attention of those in attendance with a 6.65 in the 60-yard and he brings that quick-twitch athleticism with him to all other facets of his game. A switch-hitter, Diaz shows more refinement in his swing from the left side where he also shows plenty of quickness and strength in his hands, showing no problem in turning on a pitch with authority or driving it deep to the middle parts of the field. On the summer the New York native connected for 4 home runs and shows the aforementioned athleticism in his defensive actions with mid-80s arm strength from the outfield as well.

Cook was a recent standout at the Fall Connecticut Showcase towards the beginning of September where he showed a combination of athleticism, projection, and present arsenal to intrigue. A 7.15 runner, Cook moves with fluidity on the mound and sports plenty of arm speed, already working into the upper-80s with his heater while pummeling the strike zone and showing both a two- and four-seamer. Cook also shows a slider, which when it’s released right out of the hand, shows solid horizontal tilt in the low-70s which serves as a quality out pitch. He’s already the top ranked left-hander in the state of New Hampshire and given the gradual jumps he’s made since even this summer, there’s no doubting Cook is still just scratching the surface of his long-term potential.

Time will tell where Gamelli ultimately calls home on the diamond as he’s already showing solid tools on both sides of the ball, though 6-foot-2 left-handers out of the Northeast already working an easy mid-80s on the heater typically become a hot commodity rather quickly amongst college recruiters. That same athleticism that allows him to show well as a two-way translates well to the mound where he had the results to match this summer, including an eye-opening run at the 15u WWBA World Championships where he struck out 10 in 6 innings over the course of two outings. The velocity is already creeping up and given the secondaries, Gamelli is a name recruiters need to be on.

Campbell may not be the most physical of players featured in this exercise as he’s listed at 5-foot-8, 175 pounds, but the combination of strength and overall athleticism allow him to show well all over the diamond, whether behind the plate or while patrolling center field. A table setter atop the lineup for one of the top prep programs in the Northeast in Bishop Hendricken, Campbell showcased his bat-to-ball skills throughout the summer as he hit .340 over 57 plate appearances, a span in which he walked twice the amount he struck out while collecting a few doubles and a couple triples. He also earned All-Tournament honors in two of the bigger 16u tournaments of the summer in the WWBA and National Elite Championships.

Mid-Atlantic Red Sox
Playing for Mid-Atlantic Red Sox, right-hander Quinn Lindblom looks to continue to dominate just as he has throughout the summer circuit, turning in a handful of quality starts though none more so than his 13-punchout masterpiece at the 15u Coastal World Series this past July. Younger for the grade as he was eligible for 15u ball this summer circuit, Lindblom presents plenty of physical projection on his 6-foot, 157-pound frame but already exhibits an arsenal with which he can miss bats while pounding the strike zone. There’s plenty of arm speed through the backside, currently working into the mid-80s with his fastball though there’s reason to believe another jump or two is in route while pounding all four quadrants of the zone and mixing a late biting curveball with solid present depth.

Unlike some of his peers in the Northeast, Jordi is no stranger to playing baseball down south as he’s rostered with the East Cobb Astros and has played for them in a couple recent tournaments alongside some of the top talent in the ’24 class, all while garnering a couple All-Tournament Team honors. Strongly and athletically built at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, Jordi will grab your attention quickly with his left-handed stroke as it’s one that possesses both looseness and leverage out front while showing the ability to impact the ball on a linear to either gap with intent. He repeats his swing well and hit to the tune of .390 this summer while also taking one of the best rounds of BP at the Northeast Top Prospect Games where his overall athleticism was on display in all facets of his game.

Jackson is a dynamic combination of athleticism, strength and high-end tools on both sides of the baseball. Should Jackson put everything together all at once, look out as this could be a huge pick to click within the 2025 class.

Mexico has seen steady gains velocity-wise throughout the summer and carried it into the fall with an outstanding outing recently. He ran his fastball up to 89 mph, held the mid-80s throughout and showed swing-and-miss traits on his breaking ball. The frame projects for more strength moving forward and the arm stroke is relatively clean, which bodes well for continued spikes in velocity moving forward. Add in the aptitude to spin the baseball and Mexico is an intriguing lefty option for those looking to bolster their pitching corps.

Pengel brings an intriguing set of skills to the table, as the twitchy middle infielder has smooth, fluid actions in the dirt with plenty of arm strength to stick on the left-side moving forward. The wiry, strong, long-levered frame with tons of physical projection remaining only furthers the intrigue for the young Northeast prospect.

Feurtado is the type of arm that will leave you yearning for more, as the long and lanky lefty brings tons of physical projection and velocity upside to the mound. He has been up to 88 mph in previous looks from a loose three-quarters arm slot, brings some funk and deception for would be hitters and has feel for his three-pitch mix. The slurve-shaped breaking ball has bat-missing abilities, while the changeup completes his mix with fading action and depth. It's more control over command at the moment, but small refinements to his delivery and additional strength will help that along the way. Look for Feurtado to continue adding velocity over the next few years, as the intrigue will only enhance as he fine tunes the command.

Sosa has been a steady performer in 2022 for his Bronx Bombers and we should look for that to continue at the WWBA Underclass World Championship. At the plate, it is an enticing hit/power combination with excellent barrel skills and the aforementioned burgeoning in-game power. He stays connected well during the swing process and consistently finds the barrel. His athleticism plays in both corners of the outfield with smoothness to his actions and arm strength to thwart anyone trying to take extra bases. There is still plenty of physical projection remaining, as he should expand his power potential as he matures.

Vega is an interesting uncommitted backstop with in-game production offensively and enticing arm strength from behind the dish. At the plate, he stays connected well into launch and generates easy lift from gap-to-gap. He has the propensity to find the barrel quite often and the budding power potential shows up in-game. The arm strength standouts defensively and the overall receiving skills will only continue to improve with minor refinements and physical maturity. Look for Vega to continue producing at the plate, while tightening up things defensively and showing off the aforementioned arm strength.

Grant is an enticing uncommitted arm from the Northeast, as the 6-foot-5 left-hander possesses immense physical upside with more velocity in the tank. He has been into the mid-80s in previous looks with good feel for spin and the ability to kill spin on his changeup. He pounds the zone effortlessly, limiting opportunities for opponents effectively and garners plenty of weak contact. The secondary offerings are promising with healthy shape and bat-missing qualities to his breaking ball, while his changeup completes the three-pitch mix with subtle fade and depth. Look for another velocity jump from Grant in the near future, which will only expand his already intriguing profile for those looking for high upside arms within their 2024 recruiting class.
Robert Brown III, RHP, North Andover, Mass.

Brown has steadily increased velocity as of late, working into the mid-80s at times in 2022. The durable right-hander pounds the zone effortlessly with his heavy fastball, generates weak contact and limits free passes. He mixes in a two-plane breaking ball with a promising spin profile and completes his arsenal with a well-replicated changeup. The ease of operation and physical projection remaining bode well for more velocity in the near future and he should be someone to watch closely as it continues to uptick.

The bat is the carrying tool for the young 2025 grad, as he displays a real handle for the barrel and displays usable power in game action. It’s an intent-based swing with good leverage and torque created by his strong lower half. He uses the entire field effectively and adjusts well according to pitch type, speed and location. Defensively, he is an able defender at first base and his catch-and-throw skill set has markedly improved. Look for the bat to shine for the uncommitted left-handed hitter as he continues to develop defensively.

Ferris has a 6-foot-4, 225-pound frame that shows some good athleticism. He possesses a 97th percentile fastball velocity for his class, and it gets up to 88 mph. He has a build that doesn’t show signs of breaking down as he pitches deeper into games. Trevor has an opportunity to be used as a two-way player with some soft hands and good footwork at the bag at first.

Knights Knation 17U
Winchester is a primary catcher with a 5-foot-11, 180-pound frame. He shows good speed with a 7.09 time in the sixty. Cooper has athletic actions and good quickness behind the plate. Switch-hitter at the plate, he has shown good bat-to-ball ability throughout his career and finds his way on base just under 50% of the time.

This uncommitted player has a 6-foot-6, 215-pound frame that is extra long and has a strong, athletic build. Chase shows some good feel for pitching as he has kept his ERA under a 1.00 for the whole year, while escaping some jams along the way. With 46 strikeouts through 29 2/3 innings, he shows the ability to dictate at-bats to opposing hitters. Fastball continues to improve with velocity and just topped out new high this month at 86 mph. Flashes a 12/6 breaker with depth to keep hitters honest.

Bridger is a unique player with tremendous arm talent either behind the dish or on the mound. A switch-hitting player, he plays catcher primarily and has some good fundamentals. His projectability might just be on the bump however. Hamilton’s fastball has touched 91 mph this summer and he shows a curveball in the 73-75 range with some hard biting action. Very raw and still has room for added strength and development.

Hill has one of those athletic frames coaches want in a player. Long, lean and room for more power. Andrew has a very balanced swing and can leverage some balls from time to time with projectable power. Possessing good speed and athleticism to move both ways on the infield, and ability to throw from multiple angles, Andrew has plenty of upside on defense. Hill also shows good foot speed with a sixty time of 7.03 seconds.

Wes is a 6-foot, 195-pound player that shows consistent barrel-to-baseball contact skills, with many of them being hard. He has a long, loose swing with some better bat speed to the inner portion. Many of Walker’s hits are from gap-to-gap with his strength. He had an uptick in power, hitting three home runs this summer and raising his average to over .300. He still has some room for added strength and could project to a productive bottom third of the order hitter at the next level.

This power RHP has a high ceiling and continues to get better with his skills on the mound. Ian has a 6-foot-4, 185-pound frame that projects at the next level. He doesn’t allow many free passes and baserunners have a hard time scoring once on base. He gets good extension down the mound upon release. His fastball just topped out at 88 mph on September 9 and he can move it around the strike zone well. His curveball is a bit tilted with an 11/5 shape and has good pulldown on it. Ian has averaged over a strikeout an inning this summer.

This uncommitted student/athlete stands 5-foot-10, 175 pounds and has some really good upside with his arm talent. Ryan works behind the plate at times with a good pop time of 2.07 seconds and clean mechanics through actions. His fastball reading is up to 87 mph as he possesses a loose and clean arm action. Relatively raw on the mound, he shows promise with good arm strength to be developed and molded moving forward.

Reese is a 6-foot-4, 230-pounder from southwest Tennessee. He shows a lively fastball that has been up to 88 mph. Ellison shows a good feel and ability to “pitch” as he has some deception in delivery and can add and subtract on the heater while getting some cutting action when needed. His off-speed pitches are a big breaking curveball and a changeup that shows good fading action. A reliable arm that fills the zone up with a multitude of pitches.

Colton is a 6-foot-3, 195-pound pitcher that toes the rubber as a LHP. With a repeatable delivery and easy arm action, he has shown the ability to run his heater up to 87 mph with good ride through the zone. He can spin the curveball well with a tilted 1/7 type shape and some late bite. Sampson also has a third pitch in his arsenal with a mid-70s changeup that shows some bottom and fade. This ability to mix three pitches and have the feel to pitch in and out of the zone make Colton a good, projectable arm for the next level.

Smallish 5-foot-9 athletic frame. Has really performed at PG events, earning MVP of the WWBA West National Championship, and earning all-tournament honors in the past three events he attended, really showing an ability to hit and get on base. Currently hitting .500 with a 1.244 OPS in 2022 events with a career OPS of .951 in 53 games played.

Big-bodied left/left first baseman, with a 6-foot-3, 210-pound frame who moves well around the bag. Shows projectable power to the pull side with ability to drive ball to all fields. Has shown hitabilty at PG events, hitting over .375 in past three tournaments he attended.

Ortiz has shown interesting two-way ability both on the mound and behind the dish. Lean, athletic 6-foot-1 frame. Ran fastball up to mid-80s with a sharp breaking curveball. Loose arm that projects well for future velocity. Hitterish in the box with a level swing, uses lower half well, showing ability to drive the ball.

The high-waisted, lengthy right-hander is ultra projectable with a delivery that shows drop-and-drive tendencies. His fastball shows quality running life and is super effective when thrown on the inner-third. There’s almost certainly command issues with young arms with similar build and stature, but there seems to be no such signs here. He displays an advanced feel for his downer breaking ball. There’s a tendency to go to the top rail with it early in counts. The arm action is loose, with the ball really popping out of a three-quarters slot. Easy to project future velocity.

Athletic middle infielder with a clean, smooth stroke from the left side. There’s a certain amount of understanding in the box, which should be really intriguing to potential collegiate suitors. The amount of times he has worked deep at-bats before shooting some soft stuff backside is countless. There’s still plenty of room to fill out the frame with some muscle mass, but the polish of the swing and the approach is a sign of exciting things to come for Hannigan.

The twitchy athlete shows really quality traits in the box with a linear path and highly advanced feel for the barrel. There’s some gap power that should only improve as he fills out his lean frame. Definite above-average bat speed with an all-fields approach. High quality middle infielder with crisp lateral mobility and soft hands. Not to mention a strong mid-80s arm across.

Memphis Tigers Team Hagan
Big, husky frame that repeats a counter-rotating windup well to run the fastball into the low-90s. Last outing in Memphis he held 88-92 throughout a 12-strikeout perfect game. The fastball command is exceptional, working all four quadrants and mixing in a hard, short breaking slider at 80-82 that produced plenty of whiffs. The pitchability of the offering also impressed, ripping in early count knee-bucklers with some frequency. Definitely someone who should turn some heads on the biggest stage for underclassmen.

Prototypical corner build that displays some serious strength at impact. The swing works off the front side, matching plane well with legit middle to pull-side thump. Last appearance he racked up multiple hits for extra bases and left the yard once. Big time power ceiling with enough athleticism to potentially stick at a corner outfield spot.

The thing that stands out with Carr in a huge way is the really high quality bat speed. The approach sprays line drives all over the yard with not only really solid table-setter style abilities batting at the top of the lineup, but some pull-side juice. In Memphis for the Fall World Series, he compiled quite the weekend with a .455 average with a bomb, 5 RBI, and 7 runs scored. Impact player that should attract some attention.

Sturdy-built third baseman/shortstop that shows advanced bat-to-ball skills with effortless middle to pull-side juice. Not only an impact bat, but a rangy infielder with good glove skills and a rifle across the diamond. Coaches of the player describe him as a really high motor grinder on and off the field. There’s plenty of room to add to an already strong young player.

Lengthy right-handed pitcher with a clean, simple operation. He gains decent extension with linear direction down the plane. He is not going to overpower anybody, but the fastball shows quality sink that induces frequent ground balls to pair with a downer breaking ball that demonstrates usable depth. He will go to the offering early and often. The delivery stays in sound rhythm and leads to exceptional command. Tons of projectability with good arm speed and such a lean frame.

The young backstop displays quality bat speed. The hands stay inside the baseball to create some high quality leverage to the gaps. The swing works on a linear path, utilizing a sizable lower half build. At a recent showcase, he put on an absolute laser show in batting practice, carrying it over well into the games. Significant run-producing potential with advanced receiving skills and footwork behind the dish. Pitts is far from his ceiling but has all the makings of a really solid ball player.

Memphis Tigers - Team Hagan
Tall, lean third baseman that sets up with hands high, the bat path is direct with the ability to utilize his length to leverage baseballs to all parts of the field. There’s a scenario where with some added strength and loft in the swing, that he could be a premier power bat. As of now, he employs occasional gap power with advanced barrel control. Savvy ball player that applies consistent pressure on the basepaths. Additionally, on the mound he runs the fastball into the lower-80s with some deceptiveness from a lower three-quarters slot. He puts forth a slider that generates some swing-and-miss with tight spin and sweeping horizontal break. Everything points towards the future as a position player but is a well-rounded player top to bottom.
