Quinn Carter (2026, Stone Mountain, Ga.) had a strong showing this weekend as the young two-way prospect proved to have upside with multiple tools. In the box, the right-hander hitter utilizes an aggressive approach before letting the hands do the work. Quick bat head as he fires it through the zone looking to do damage. Proved to have some pop as he tripled deep into the left-center gap. Athleticism showing on the paths too as he cruised around the bases. Also went on to steal a couple of bags during the event. Feel in the box present and will find more barrels with a simplified swing down the road but has the early makings of a confident hitter. We also saw Carter on the mound a couple different times during the event for his Meridian Panthers. Fairly simple mechanics as he lifts to the belt before falling down the hill. Easy arm stroke releasing from a higher slot while proving to have plenty more in the tank. Also mixed in a pair of secondaries in a changeup and breaking ball. Struggled with command early but settled in nicely after that. Carter will be a prospect to follow as his prep days continue with his game showing positive upside going forward.
