High School Showdown Scout Notes: Day 1 | Day 2

Noah Franco (2025, Downey, Calif.), a 6-foot-3, 180-pound left-handed hitter, was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2022 PG High School Showdown White bracket, where he led IMG Academy Grey to a championship. He finished with an astonishing .733 batting average over the four games, with 11 hits in 15 at-bats with a walk and hit-by-pitch in 17 plate appearances. The 2025 grad stole four bases, scored nine runs, and drove in 10 with a mind-boggling 1.635 OPS. The left-handed primary outfielder also took the ball on the bump for one inning to close out the victory over the Sparkman Senators in the semifinal matchup. On the bump he tossed a scoreless frame on just 13 pitches with a pair of strikeouts, running the fastball up to 88 mph while sitting in the 86 mph range. What a weekend from the young two-way athlete and a High School Showdown performance that will go down in the record books.
