Championship play began on Wednesday with the Oklahoma Mudcats 14U facing off against USA Prime National 2024. Coleman Mayfield (2024, Elk City, OK) got the start on the mound for USA Prime National 2024. Opposing Mayfield was the Oklahoma Mudcats 14U's own Pryce Bender (2024, Edmond, OK).

USA Prime National 2024 would collect three hits in the first two innings. Cody Cashon (2024, Southlake, TX), Jax Marshall (2024, Frisco, TX) and Josh Glaser (2024, Flower Mound, TX) would all single off Bender but would be left stranded without scoring a run. Luke Williams (2024, Bixby, OK) would collect the Oklahoma Mudcats 14U's first hit in the third inning. Williams would advance to second via a walk, steal third then score on a wild pitch. This would open the score up to 1-0 in favor of the Oklahoma Mudcats 14U. In the bottom of the third inning, Bender would work out of a bases loaded jam to keep the score the same.

In the bottom of the fourth inning with two outs and runners at first and second, Luke Bajaj (2024, Colleyville, TX) would single to right field making the score 1-1. The very next pitch Major Brignon (2024, Celina, TX) would double putting USA Prime National 2024 ahead 2-1.

Cohl McCoy (2024, Fort Worth, TX) collected his second hit of the day in the bottom of the fifth inning. He would steal second base but would be left there as Michael Barham (2024, Duncan, OK) would work a scoreless inning.

The Oklahoma Mudcats would leave the bases loaded in the top of the seventh inning and the game would come to end with USA Prime National 2024 winning with a final score of 2-1.
